Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada is an actress most well-known for her role as Bo on The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actress director producer playwright educator as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the earliest moments of her existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of plays. Silk was featured in many commercials when she was a young child. The year 1997 was the time she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Silk was blessed with an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May of 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk was pregnant during filming the finale of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to fans during her Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on January 6, 2013. Silk was involved in the production of Lost Girl since the third season finale episode was conceived on the 6th of January, 2013, announced on Twitter her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season.
