Even a brilliant career can conceal the most tragic of tales. Lolo Jones, the winner of both the USA championships and World Champion in hurdles was able to achieve her standing with lots of effort as well as a lot of patient. Jones had the most difficult of lives as the child of an unwed mom who had five other children. Her mother and she lived in the basement of a church, and was constantly in motion. The sporadic lifestyle made it necessary for Jones to attend the same school each year up until her first day of in high school. Jones had to live away from her mother in Theodore Roosevelt School in order to pursue her interest in track. Jones lived in four distinct residences during her time at high school, so she could attend all of her classes in the same place. Jones received an award called the Gatorade Iowa Track and Field Award for the Best Athlete at school and was also an active member of the orchestra at school, playing a cello player. As she began college, Jones proved to be one of the best hurdlers. She was the winner of the 100-meter hurdle during the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. She also was part of the winning team of 100-meter relay. Jones won both the indoor and outdoor hurdles at the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones is training since 2005 when she graduated from her studies. In 2005, she was the winner of the Torino Memorial race, in 2006 she took the Heusden and Ostrava runners.

Brandt moved from Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the close of her teen years. Discovered by local casting directors Brandt took on the role of Naevia on the Starz smashes Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. She was one of the most prominent actors in the show, working alongside Steven S. D Knight & Sam Raimi. Mazikeen played the Vertigo/DC comics popular Mazikeen in Netflix's Lucifer show, which lasted for six seasons. In the July 2023 Netflix adult animated comedy Captain Fall, Brandt stars opposite Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni. Lesley Ann Brandt was born on the 2nd of December in Cape Town in South Africa. She's quite an accomplished New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt and her family relocated to Auckland in New Zealand in 1999. In Auckland Brandt's first job, she was an agent for sales, and later was promoted into the role of an expert in IT. Lesley has performed in numerous commercial advertisements after a few modeling assignments. She graduated in 2008 and concluded her studies in acting. After that, in 2009, she continued training using the Meisner technique of studying. Lesley Brandt's debut notable acting role was on the TV drama series Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt was a guest supporting actress on New Zealand's television show Shortland Street. Then she appeared on a science-fiction drama arrangement This Is Not My Life in which the story was based on the fictional city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was later reprised as Naevia in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
